Today, 13 May 2026, the Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) and the Embassy of Pakistan in Rwanda reached an important agreement of collaboration through the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening academic and professional partnerships between CUR, universities in Pakistan, and Pakistani companies.
This strategic collaboration opens new horizons for CUR students by creating opportunities for international academic exchange, research collaboration, internships, innovation, entrepreneurship, and exposure to global professional networks. Students will benefit from enhanced learning experiences and increased employability in an interconnected world.
CUR EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION WITH PAKISTAN
CUR staff members will equally benefit through joint research initiatives, academic mobility, professional development, knowledge sharing, and international teaching cooperation with Pakistani universities and institutions. This partnership reinforces CUR’s commitment to academic excellence and global engagement.
Beyond academics, this collaboration contributes to community development by promoting intercultural dialogue, international solidarity, economic cooperation, and sustainable development initiatives between Rwanda and Pakistan. Through this partnership, CUR continues to position itself as a dynamic institution committed to forming globally competitive graduates while building bridges between nations, cultures, and communities.
