The Ceremony of receiving the education institute of Pope Francis in the Catholic Church in Rwanda took place in Kigali Rwanda. His Holiness Pope Francis started this initiative last year 2019. Thereafter, the bishops of the African continent held the ceremony of education in Africa in the meeting held in Kinshasa in 2022. This month from 14th to 7th April 2023, the Catholic Church in Rwanda received this education event ceremony in a conference organized by the Catholic University of Rwanda. The meeting was opened by His Excellency Antone Cardinal KAMBANDA, Archbishop of Kigali and President of the Catholic Church’s Bishops Conference in Rwanda together with Mgr Papias MUSENGAMANA, Bishop of BYUMBA. The meeting was attended by the representatives of youth in all dioceses, representatives of Catholic education as well as the representatives of the family flock.
