The Catholic University of Rwanda is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Professor NIYIGENA John Paul by his Holiness Pope Francis as Education Advisor in the Catholic Church in the World. This appointment took place on May 7th, 2022. Professor Jean Paul NIYIGENA is a Lecturer at the Catholic University of Rwanda and the Catholic University of Louvain. Niyigena John Paul is part of the group of 19 people chosen by Pope Francis to enable the Catholic Church to carry out its mission of education from the Catholic kindergarten to the university.
